Microsoft has just relesed the information regarding the availability of DPM 2019 and the list of what the 2019 version contains has grown which is always a great pleasure!

• Windows Server 2019 support
• SQL 2017 support as DPM database
• Support for newer workloads backups
• Faster backups with Tiered storage using SSDs
• Support for Central Monitoring
• VMware backup to tape
• VMWare parallel backups
